Former Nebraska football coach Tom Osborne will help kick-off the Heartland United Way campaign in Grand Island at a luncheon from 11:30 to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 at the new Bosselman Enterprises location on 1607 S. Locust St.
The Heartland United Way campaign raises money to support 21 local nonprofit organizations and funds programs to help individuals and families gain access to education, health and financial stability opportunities. All donor gifts stay local to improve people’s lives in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick counties.

This year’s campaign chairs are Tom and Becky Gdowski in Hall County, Kurt Johnson in Hamilton County, Donna Jorgensen and Jill Purvis in Merrick County and Linda Kezeor of Howard County.
Tickets for the campaign kickoff are now available. Single tickets are $20 and a reserved table of eight is $200.
