Go Big Give registration open for nonprofits

Nonprofit organization registration is now open for the third annual Go Big Give event, which the Heartland United Way and Grand Island Community Foundation will host on May 3.
Go Big Give is a 24-hour online giving event in which people can visit GoBigGIVE.org to make donations to their favorite registered nonprofit organizations.
 
To participate in Go Big Give, organizations must have current 501(c)(3) status and provide services that directly impact Hall, Hamilton, Howard or Merrick counties.
Nonprofit registration deadline is Feb. 23, and there is no cost to participate. Organizations interested in registering should email give@gobigGIVE.org.
 
Registered nonprofits will be eligible to receive match-pool funds and incentive prizes throughout the online day of giving on May 3. A proportional share of a match pool secured by the Grand Island Community Foundation and Heartland United Way will be shared with participating organizations for gifts up to $25,000 per donor/per organization. Numerous cash incentives will be added to nonprofits’ totals throughout the day.
 
The 24-hour giving event helps gain visibility for local organizations, increases support, entices new donors, and allows everyone to be involved in this communitywide effort to raise funds for local organizations.
